About Dr. Cho
Practicing since 1997, Dr. Cho is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon. An early proponent of minimally invasive spine surgery in Canada, Dr. Cho has been performing minimally invasive spine surgeries and procedures since 2002. Since then he has been actively involved in developing new techniques to solve complex spine problems through minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Cho has also taught numerous courses on minimally invasive spine surgery to surgeons across Canada and the United States.
Dr. Cho has been an early proponent of minimally invasive spine surgery in Canada and has been at the forefront of performing minimally invasive spine surgery since 2002. He has been actively involved in developing new techniques using minimally invasive surgery to solve complex spine problems. He has also taught minimally invasive spine surgery courses for surgeons in Canada and the United States.
Dr. Cho is part of the residency training program at the University of Calgary and has trained numerous residents over the years. He is also involved in the Spine Fellowship training program training Orthopaedic Surgeons and Neurosurgeons to become Spine Surgeons. These spine surgeons have gone on to practice in various parts of the world including North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australasia. Additionally, Dr. Cho has been involved in clinical research through the University of Calgary Spine Program. He is also a past Royal College Examiner for Orthopaedic Surgery. His previous administrative roles include Program Director for the University of Calgary Spine Program and Site Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery for Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.
